Szentendre is probably one of the most visited by tourists coming to Hungary. The city is truly beautiful; you can stroll through its narrow streets and along the boulevard on the banks of the Danube, tours the center, filled with churches of different denominations, or a coffee in one of the many restaurants or cafes.

No need to remember that its inhabitants make their living selling various kinds of souvenirs to foreign tourists. If we decide to dine at a restaurant or a souvenir, you should always pay close attention to prices, which are often very high.
Besides walking around the city and admire its buildings, there are some views that we recommend you do:
Archaeological excavations: here is the old Roman city Ulcisia Castra. It was a military town and many facilities and objects preserved from the Roman era, which today are displayed in its museum.
Pozarevicka Orthodox Church: Orthodox Church was first built by the Serbs in the city limits. The church is from the eighteenth century and was built on the site of an Old Catholic church.
Blagovestenska Orthodox Church: This church was built in the mid-eighteenth century. Near the altar there are numerous icons that represent the history of the Serbian nation.
The museum of wine as their advertising is the only wine museum in Hungary. As always in every lie there is some truth – the only institution of its kind that shows all the regions where wine is grown.
Preobraenska Orthodox Church: the church was built by the guild of tanners between 1741 and 1776. It’s worth knowing the inside, but what makes the most famous temple is the ceremony of consecrating the grapes, which is celebrated on August 19. The ceremony recalls that for centuries the area produces more wine Szentendre all other provinces.
