Parking in Budapest
In Budapest was previously free parking everywhere, but in recent years the center of the entire city and the suburb have also become places where you have to pay.

This has its good and bad side too: not so many vehicles in the city center and thanks to effective control and no cars parked on the pavement, as was customary before. The downside is you have to pay through the parking lot and in the central parts is sometimes very difficult to find a parking place.

The rate changes for each district. In the interior districts is approx. 1 EURO / hour, while leaving out is approx. 50% of it. The machine only accepts coins. I have to pay from Monday through Friday from eight in the morning until six in the afternoon.Anyway buy parking ticket if they stop the car somewhere because inspectors do their job very consciously, it’s almost certain the fine if no ticket. There are still a few places in underground parking in the center of the city, and the fever of the parking lots were built on vacant lots are also beginning to slowly disappear.

For those arriving at the center from a hotel on the outskirts of the city, we recommend that you park near a subway station is still on the periphery and the center are a means of mass transportation.
