Budapest Botanical Garden is the oldest in Hungary, its current official name is University Botanic Garden Eotvos Lorand (ELTE Botanikus Kert). The garden can take pride in having over 7000 different plant species and to be protected area since 1960 and the World Heritage List since 2006.
