It is assumed that the people of Hungary (originally the Magyars), came from the land of Asia during the migration of population from Middle Ages. They are small in size with dark eyes and hair. They probably settled in the Carpathian Basin, along the River Danube and established the state of Hungary in the 9th century. However, now the Hungarian people are multi-ethnic due to the different historical conquests and assimilation.

Now days, residents of this country enjoy the lifestyle of other industrialized nations. Besides folk art, dance, literature and music, Hungarians are mostly known for their spicy recipes.
