There used to be a motion picture entitled Patch Adam, stared by Robin Williams. The young doctor namely Hunter Patch Adam tried to heal patients’ illness using the very different approach from common medical treatment procedures and science. The main idea of the movie is how to exploit good emotion, the so called mood, to help recover the illnesses they are suffering from. Accordingly not to provide medical prescription first to patients, but it would rather to lift up someone’s cheer and psychological convenience continuously at hospital.

He, Patch Adam, strongly believed that laughter is really contagious in order to ease patient’s anxiety and enhance healing process. Apart from how accurate the treatment was, it really inspired doctors to cheer their patients up. That was in line with what Robert Benchley, a U.S. humorist, said,” I have been told by hospital authorities that more copies of my works are left behind by departing patients than those of any other author”.

In short, it would be a nice of doctors to ease patients’ anxiety. It could be simply started by getting the same clothes from scrubs online offered by certain commercial websites. wouldn’t create any barrier for doctors to enable them prior to surgical treatment.

In addition, it doesn’t matter at all if women doctors would be pleased to wear some floral print scrub top in order to give a cheerful impression to the patients. Since then, patients would get to find that doctors especially surgeons are not always to be worrying their minds and psychology.
